i want to start doing some special fx makeup, but i have no clue where to start with this. i understand how to apply liquid latex and applying prosthetic parts on, i've just never done it on myself yet. how should i go about doing all of this?? halloween is coming up and i would love to do some awesome halloween makeup that included some cool parts to it. help??

You really need to just try the products out and play with them. It really helps to watch makeup tutorials on how to apply special fx makeup because there are some great artists out there who have great tips on how to make really awesome fx.

You can find a lot of stock prosthetic appliances, adhesives and colours at costume stores, especially around Halloween. I am planning on doing a few videos on some techniques using liquid latex and prosthetics before this Halloween as well. A great FX resource that I use is http://www.theeffectslab.com.
