Hey everyone, I have a quick question... I have light green eyes that are a little blue-ish but i was wondering would brown or black mascara and eyeliner look better... Now its kind of a self preference, but what do you think personally? I like both alot but I'd like a few second opinions since everyone loves the classic black, but brown creates a "softer look"... Another thing to note is that I am still in high school...

If you're up for it, go for purple! it makes green eyes pop like craaazy! Lise watier has a really nice one, as do Benefit and Bourjois. Otherwise, between black and brown, I would switch it up depending on your situation. For school, tone down with brown. For evening, attack with black! >=D

I have green eyes as well and I mostly always use black eyeliner and mascara. I think brown eyeliner looks nice with some of my eye looks, but black is my go to :) And in terms of mascara, I always wear black because I feel it defines my eyes better.
(Also, as Dylan said try purple!! If there is any color I use more than black eyeliner, it's purple :))

I also have green eyes, and I use black and brown eyeliner, depending on the look. But, I always use black mascara. I feel like the black makes me eye color pop a little more.
And, I agree about the purple! I like to line my waterline with a purple gel liner, gives a nice little pop of color without being really over the top!

What about bronze? It's in the brown family, but a little bit more fun. Also what about gunmetal instead of black. I also agree with the purple suggestion. To make eyes pop you want to use the opposite color. So purple will make green eyes stand out and bronze or brown will make blue eyes stand out.

I am all about black....
I have hazel eyes, that look green a lot of the time...
there is a eyeliner called RAVEN at MAC ...it looks red but glides on purpleish...i think you would fall in love :)

i have green eyes too! I personally use black, I can't really stand the color of brown eyeliner, if I want that natural" look I just use brown eye shadows!
