Haha... I hate to beat a dead horse by saying this again: CeraVe is my favorite DS brand cleanser that is gentle, hydrating and pretty close to universal for most skin types. You have to get used to it not foaming, sudsing, tingling, exfoliating and accept it for what it is though... and def. different than all the harsh agents popularly used in many products today. Give it a try if you're willing: $12 at Target, CVS, Walgreens, etc.

LOL I agree with Soma S. Here is her blog why http://www.kabukivoodoo.com/2011/07/skin-care-cerave-must-have-staple-in-my.html#more (Soma I hope you don't mind me sharing it, cause I just read it all... And LOVE it)
Anyway, I pretty much went through exactly what she did. Spent $$$ on nit so helpful products, yadda yadda yadda. This is pretty much my story too to a "T".
Since it's so cheap, what do you have to lose... Beside problematic skin.

Lol, thanks, Jane! You're too kind! Haha... I can't believe you read that ALL! I was even embarrassed to post up so much! =P

You might be able to find it in Walmart. Most places that carry Cetaphil have CeraVe right next to it. I don't know why, but that's how the shelves are stocked in all the stores I've seen it in. =)

I love Olay Clarify & Cleanse face wash. It has soft exfoliating beads that's gentle enough for daily use & it's got salicylic acid for acne treatment. The scent is nice too -- very clean & fresh smelling!

I've found CeraVe at Walgreens too. A really good selection too... I think their was the entire line (versus some stores that has the moisturizing cream and not the lotion, stores with the hydrating cleanser and not the foaming one... Etc). Um is there a RiteAid?
If you blink you might miss it. Cause like Soma mentioned its right next to Cetaphil... And their packaging is eerily similar.
LOL yeah I read the whole thing, as a matter of fact I have a BUMPY right now. GRRR.... for the longest it was just a bump. I wanted to pop it but I couldn't cause there was nothing to pop... It was just a "bump". It has seemed to have gone down, but now it's an ugly looking scar. =[

^I'm still working on mine to fade. Stupid me, and my impatience... and darned that extraction tool for looking so good when Bumpy was a full-blown pustule. =/
Try a vitamin C serum to help brighten up your skin and regenerate new skin. It should help Bumpy fade. I'm obsessed w/ Ole Henrikson's right now, but there are DIY recipes on MUA if you want to try it. =)

I use the Loreal Deep Clean in a green bottle. It comes with a little face scrubby. I have extremely oily skin and I break out in blackheads a lot. I don't wear foundation or anything on my skin hardly b/c I break out so much. But, this product is clear and it doesn't leave behind residue. It doesn't dry my face out. I use it everyday. hope this helps.

hey. i have very acne-prone skin and I absolutely love the face wash from be natural organics. Its called AHA facial wash: http://www.benaturalorganics.com/details-aha-facial-wash.html
I hope that was helpful. Also the aloe calming face wash from the Body Shop is pretty good too. It doesn't irritate my skin.

i use lush aqua marina and then i switch out between clean and clear's deep action exfoliating gel or the morning burst line (loving the brightening one now). the best thing for acne though is a cleansing system. i have the olay one which was about $30 but sigma sells one for around $40 i believe and then the clarisonic which is far more expensive! but this cleans deep in your skin and really pulls out impurities. i rarely break out anymore because of this; only when its "that time of the month". the cleansing system really helps!!

sorry to becoming to the table so late but might I recommend Rodan + Fields Unblemish and once the acne is tackled, I would move on to Rodan + Fields Reverse (to fade brown spots and scarring from acne). Both products come with a 60 day 100% money back guarantee. I personally use Reverse and have had amazing results. Since you can only get these products from a consultant, please feel free to message me for details. Good luck :)

I want to suggest burt's bees acne solutions line but i havent tried it yet! So far I've gotten the toner and have been liking it (just starting using it tho).. anyways, if you've ever looked into burt's bees it is an all natural line and I feel as tho you can trust their products. I've read many great reviews, and if you're looking just for something new to try that could be the way to go without the worry of you're skin freaking out!
