Hey everyone! So this weekend I'm going to New York into the big MAC store. This is basically my first time. I don't know what to do when I get there. I'm going to be like a lost puppy! :O

There will be a salesperson that will help you out! Just make sure you have an idea of what you want! I always make a list.. keeps you on track, gets you out of the store more quickly, and you'll know how much you're about to spend! I do a lot of research before I go to MAC! Haha!

Thank you so much for you help. I wasn't really prepared when I went into Sephora once and I spent 2 hours in there! So many things catch my eyes and then I get so clueless. Lol!

You definitely need an idea of what you want before you get in there because I know I get overwhelmed. If you have a budget you should also check out MAC's official website because they don't have the prices listed on the counter or anything, at least in the one I go to. Happy Shopping! :)

I know how you feel ! It is so crazy in there! Even when I am 99% sure of what I want.. I still get overwhelmed! Ha! I don't mind spending lots of time in there, though! I just love it in there!

walking into sephora and mac i feel so lost, its crazy!! as everyone is saying (i know its probably a little late now) but when you go to makeup stores as such, make sure you know what you want or have an idea of colors, certain products, and prices... and dont let those sneaky salespeople push you into buying more then you have to! i used to work at banana republic and i created SUCH sneaky ways to get customers to buy a piece of jewelry and unnecessary things just because they didnt know what they wanted... dont let them fool you :)

try looking on their website and getting an idea of what you interested in or what you want. maybe even write some stuff down so when you get to the store you can ask one of the girls/guy to help you out. you can even try them on just to see what you think. :)

definitely check out the site and pre-plan a little. look up swatches of colors and even research dupes. i dont purchase mac anymore unless it's something i can only find from mac. also, be cautious: sales people at mac are just that, sales people. they can easily talk you from a $25 purchase up to over $100. don't be afraid to tell them no lol i was for my first few trips to mac and now when i go in, i let them know why i'm there and i don't let anyone talk me into anything else!
