I have been looking for a tinted moisturizer for my face, because i have uneven skin tone and when i go back to school i don't want to be applying foundation everyday. i feel like my makeup wont last all day at school. i recently purchase the Aqua CoverGirl Smoothers and i personally think that it does not match my skin tone, and neither does elf. when i go to the drug stores i can never find anything in my skin tone. Please let me know what tinted moisturizer you use that gives you a nice coverage. Thanks <3

You could always mix your foundation with some of your moisturizer. Learned that from somebody on here. :)

I'm currently trying out BB creams, since my usual foundation MUFE HD has no SPF in it.
Missha BB creams are great because they do have some shades for darker skinned girls. I'm an NC30, and #27 is perfect for me. I know #31 is the NC40's range.
If you're still looking into DS versions, Sonia Kashuk makes a nice one.

maybe trying mixing two tinted moisturizers together? it'd still be lightweight on your face! (: i read somewhere on here where a darker skintoned girl mixed two shades of the elf tinted moisturizers together. or like others have said, try mixing in a bit of foundation! i'm like super white so i have no advice on colors for you, sorry! :p lol

Hey Soma, where do you get your Missha BB Cream from?
I'm not too sure if there is a store here locally in Hawaii; most of my friends get it from Korea when they visit or their family/friends does.
I hear Ebay, Amazon... but then I hear you need to watch out because there maybe fakes out there.
Then I know Missha has a US online site... which I'm leaning towards. I just don't want to pay for shipping... or wait... for something that may or may not match or turn out right. =|

I use Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer. I have the oil free with spf 20. They carry it in at least 8 different colors and you can buy it at Sephora and try them on first. :)

Urban Decay has a good one and so does OCC.....I have tried both and like them a lot. If you want to make your own you can, by simple mixing some of your foundation with a regular moisturizer.

You should check this one out I totally love it and it is not thick at all. It is just a light moistures going on but with a tint to it and it is only $24.50. When I was on my crusie I had so many people tell me how natural I look and flawless but I was wearing a tinted lol I loved it

I really enjoy the Aveeno tinted moisturizer, but they don't have a large variety of colors :/

Hey, Jane! I used the Missha online site and gambled on the #27 after reading reviews on it. They just released it, and I missed the $15 sale on it, but at $27 or so dollars, it was a steal! I just threw an extra $10 item to up it to a $40 purchase for the free shipping... what's great is that they gave me a free full-sized #23 to try as well, and a sampler of 5 different other BB creams they carry as well... AND a sample of two brightening creams and a lotion. [That's why I love shopping Asian brands... they hook you up!]
Day 1 trying it, and I'm liking it so far... but because of the high SPF content, it strobes like crazy in photos. For every day wear... I'm liking it so far, but I need more time to put a final verdict on it. Nice coverage though - the same as MUFE and light wearing as well. I'll keep you posted for sure and I'll be sure to link up a post of what I think in a good 3-6 weeks of wear. =)

I like the Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer. It is a bit expensive but I think its totally worth it. I have tried the CG tinted moisturizer but I didn't like it much because it made me oily.

melissa- there's probably a billion different theories on SPF #s. i don't know if the amount of SPF in a tinted moisturizer/foundation affects how bad of a white cast you have in photos.
but in general, yes, a bigger SPF number means more protection. (: gotta keep your skin healthy!
