Dupe alert! Wet n Wild vs Urban Decay

I filmed part of my video when my camera's batteries died so no video or swatches yet.

Wet 'n' Wild's Dancing in the Clouds from their limited edition Dream Weavers collection is a perfect dupe for Urban Decay's Summer of Love limited edition palette. The 4th color in SoL can also be duped from WnW's 8-pan called Comfort Zone.

The differences:

WnW's purple is more matte and less pigmented than UD's Flash. You can build the color up or apply wet to get it to be as pigmented but it won't be as shimmery. I would call it a 95% dupe.

The antique gold and copper in the WnW palette contains less chunky glitter than Maui Wowie and Chopper. I personally like the less glittery versions in the WnW palette than I do in Maui Wowie or Chopper. I would say the WnW are 99% dupes except for the chunky glitter.

As I mentioned before Comfort Zone has a bronze color that is 100% dupe for Smog.

G did a blog post on this. http://nouveaucheap.blogspot.com/2011/08/wet-n-wild-dancing-in-clouds-vs-urban.html

Yup she did. I did a video on it as well. :D The person who realized it is actually Liz from Beauty In A Boy's World.

wow they match almost exactly! Thanks for this!! =)

You're welcome Sara! I'm working on duping the rest of Urban Decay's colors (except the new limited editions since I don't have that palette). It will be slow since I don't own all of the UD shadows that are currently available. (I should go his Sephora up - lol.)

Wow, that is insaane how close they are!

I'm getting it tomorrow :)
