Can anyone tell me their best methods for covering tattoos? I need to do it for a wedding. I've seen Airbrushed, Dermablend, and different color correcturs and MAC's face and body used. I have the Luminess Air Brush system already

I've seen tutorials for Temptu airbrush that is sold at Sephora. It looks pretty easy to assemble and use, though the prices are pretty steep especially for the refills..

don't get kat von d's tattoo covering system (pencil & concealer). it doesn't work for crap. i'm really upset i even wasted my money on it. i have yet to find something myself and i talked to the make up artists at mac and sephora and no one had an answer for me either unfortunately

You would think that Kat von D would have a good tat covering system but honestly it's horrible! If I had to choose from what you stated,I'd pick dermablend, it's soooo good!

The kat Von D tattoo cover up is pathetic! Which is strange considering... anyway Temptu is way too expensive to keep up with, make up wise. I really want to get the Dinair system since they have a medical grade foundation line. I just need to sell my Luminess first. I definitely think I'm going to pick up some DermaBlend and setting spray to see if that will help. I've heard it smudges.

DermaBlend is great at covering tats. I used it on my tummy tat for a photo shoot. I built up coverage by adding two layers and using the setting spray very last (allow for drying between each layer).

Is a DermaBlend setting spray? Because I was thinking of getting one by Urban Decay

I use a cream from Kryolan way better than dermablend .. but for a lot of coverage I use my airbrush machine

pfttt. the kat von d tattoo concealer is a joke. I've used both cover fx and make up for ever full cover on other and both get the job done. You need to create layers, powdering in between to set.

dermablend works wonders. but also, concealer and foundation is fineee. just cover as much as you can. then stipple in that area the concealer or foundation. then use foundation powder to set it. it should stay in place and cover your tattoos

So I bought the DermaBlend leg and body cover today. I also got the leg and body tattoo primer. It's a stick. I got the lightest I saw shade 1 but its so dark. I'm not sure how I feel about it. Anyway I covered my boyfriend blue tattoo on his wrist. I pounced it on with a sponge. It worked! I just need to practice with it more, with thin layers. Would a stippling brush be better maybe? Might help too if I shaved his arm, if he'd let me. Lol.
