What is the best that you recommend?
I have a Maybelline one that I've had forever. . it gets the job done but it hurts my eyes sometimes because it's stiff so I have to use it more on the flat side , I dunno I'm tired of it though! lol HELP!

The only one I have that I like is a smashbox one. >_< BUT... I just ordered the mineral line one from ELF, so when that arrives, I'll let you know if it's any good. =]

Revlon carries a 226 dupe... Short handled version... Not bad for $5 though. I have yet to try the Ecotools version though.

Target had these makeup brushes they were called Studio Tools but I believe some stores have them marked as the UP brand or whatever. They were some of the first brushes I bought and I still use them.

Ecotools has an eye makeup brush set. It comes with Crease, Highlight, Blending, smudge, and shadow brushes. The blending is more of a round flat brush though. But they come in pretty handy and it cost me around $8 at my local target.

I'm personally a fan of Studio Tools for a drugstore brand brush. They do the job right for being a drugstore brush!

the elf studio brushes are really good. i do wish they'd come out with a decent blending brush though. i know there's one in the mineral line but it isn't fluffy enough. i have the studio contour brush but it's so stiff that it's more for placing color than blending it out

My favorite drugstore brush is my crease blending brush by LookNY. I own 2 of these brushes and are my absolute favorite crease brushes.

I use Eco Tools ' angled crease and the highlight brushes from the Eye to blend. I 2nd Rina's comment about their so called blending brush. I use it more for applying a wash of color on the whole eyelid or brow highlighter since it's also slightly tapered for a flat brush.

I recently aquired the MAC blending brush #217 for my eyes and hands down I've been amazed by how it blends out the rough edges. In the past I used my fingertips to blend. I will definitely check out the drugstore models as well so I can have a backup.

I know I'm late, but try out Sonia Kashuk's brushes from Target!

I received the Sonja Kashuk brushes as a Christmas gift and for being inexpensive the brushes are soft and did a decent job at blending color. I used the Elf brushes prior to these and I do see a difference in the brushes, over time I feel the ELF brushes break down and become less effective but their brushes are a dollar so that is to be expected! I would love to have a complete set of MAC brushes or any high quality brush set for that matter but my current money situation cannot afford it =[
