Depends on where you're putting it. If you're talking about your waterline, use an eyeliner that is waterproof. Even with waterproof eyeliner, it'll still smudge because I mean, it's on your waterline. I'm surprised that MAC's fluid line smudges. You can try putting concealer and/or an eye shadow primer before you put on your eyeliner.
