How do you take care of your skin in this season changes, Fall and Winter, tempertarure changes, not much sun anything that you do to help your skin looking and feeling great?

I always switch over certain products when the seasons change. For the summer, I have to use an oil free moisturizer to combat my combination skin type, as well lay off an heavy concealers in my makeup routine. When the colder temperatures start in, I switch my moisturizer to protect the natural oils in my skin (always have SPF in your daytime moisturizer!) I also switch my cleanser. I use a salicylic acid based cleanser through summer/fall and then for winter/spring, I used a seaweed based cleanser with rosewater. This way it's still cleaning my skin and killing bacteria but it isn't drying out my skin during the rough, cold months. And I maintain regular exfoliation and I get facial treatments every 4 to 8 weeks.

For daytime in the winter/fall, I just mainly use a gentle cleanser like cetaphil, or more often than not cliniques gentle cleanser, and a heavier mositurizer due to the dryness of the winter and retinol topical gel that I use causing my skin to peel and become flakey. In the summer/spring months I use cliniques oily skin cleanser and a lighter moisturizer like cliniques moisturizng gel to keep the oil at bay. I always use SPF of some sort whether its in my moisturizer or tinted moisturizer/foundation.

I live in So. Cal so we don't really get much of a change in weather, I mean, we do but we don't get the same extremes as people in other areas of the country so I basically keep my routine the same. I use ProActive because I still battle acne and then I change up my moisturizer for warm/cold weather. In warmer months I'll use my ProActive one mixed with Clean & Clear's Dual Action Moisturizer (the first for the SPF and the second for the salicylic acid treatment), but in colder months I'll use my ProActive moisturizer or Origin's VitiaZing because I like the tint it adds, even beneath my foundation. I am already pale enough but in the colder months I can get pretty ghostly so that little extra tint really helps me out.

Before bed I wash my face with NARS balancing foam cleanser. Also, I made my own toner with 1/2 lemon juice & 1/2 extra virgin olive oil that I spray on after cleansing. I use the toner in the morning as well. I found that it really helps my skin stay moisturized since there isn't much moisture in the air when I gets colder outside.
