I have combination skin. I have extremely dry spots around my mouth and nose area. Even applying a moisturizer before and then a primer, I still see dry spots. Any good foundation that gives a long lasting dewy finish?

For me, I've used:
LIQUID FORM--
1. Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation (It says Matte, but it comes off as a dewy look)
2. you can even try Maybelline FIT ME :)
CREAM FORM--
1. LO'real True Match
--Use a Stippling brush !
--The moisturizer I use to help me is Cetaphil Cream
I hope this helps :)

I would suggest Rimmels Lasting Finish Foundation... very long lasting and dewy. I agree with TIna on using a Stippling brush!

I have combination skin as well so I totally know what you're talking about. Cover FX cream foundation is great for dry skin! give it a try :) Also the brush you use to apply your foundation can give you the dewy finish you're looking for. If you use a duo fiber brush or a beauty blender with the Cover FX its AMAZING :) One of my fav MUAs taught me that and it totally makes a difference. Hope this helps :)

I use to have the same problem. I found that I was using the wrong moisturiser. I'm currently using Boots expert sensitive hydrating moisturiser (target). My dryness went away. Due to my skin being overly sensitive, some moisturiser had too much ingredients that irritated skin. This one is perfect. it has aloe vera, hypoallergenic, mineral water. After you find the right moisturiser, you won't have to find a dewy foundation.

I do not recommend a stifling brush unless you use it as its recommended! Stifling all over the face! If you swirl or buff with this brush you can create micro-exfoliation with combo skin! I recommend using a heavier or thicker moisturizer before bed and a moisturizer before applying makeup (if you are having extreme dry issues use the same thicker/heavier moisturizer you used at night before your makeup application as well! For applying your makeup I highly recommend using a DAMP sponge (beautyblenders are the best!) what a damp sponge will do is make the foundation go on very smooth without caking and the extra moisture from the water with smooth over any dry patches! I have combo skin myself! My favorite foundations right now are Bobbi Browns Skin Foundation, Flower Cosmetics liquid foundation and Missha's Perfect Cover BB Cream!
Hope this helps!
Also on YouTube soon in a few days I will be posting a Foundation Basics for all skin types! My username is endicottmua! Hope anyone checks it out! :)
