My lighting is not that good I have flourecent lighting
Do you zoom in or take full shots then crop?

I always use natural lighting when taking photos of my makeup because I just feel it shows true to color better than any other kind of lighting. Also, instead of zooming, I just bring the camera closer to my face/eyes and then crop the picture from there. It kind of depends on settings are best for your camera.

I agree with Jamie M. I also use natural lighting. The flash on my camera tends to wash out all the vibrant colors. I bring in the camera in closer to my eyes, as well, instead of zooming while using the MACRO mode on my camera. That makes a difference! That's all I do. I'm totally open to some more suggestions! Thanks in advance!

I dont zoom in just put my phone close to my eye i just crop after to make sure i only get the eye and eyebrow. As for lighting, natural does work the best.
