I like using MAC's stippling brush, but I was woundering, what is the best method of applying powder afterwards? powder brush, powder puff, kabuki??? Am afraid that after stippling, using any brush might take away that stippling effect. which is the best??

I find, in my case, that the best method is to apply the powder with a puffy powder puff then use the stippling brush to remove excess and touch up the effect.

how do u use the stippling to remove excess powder? the same way u use it to stipple on foundation??? Also do you have to clean it from foundation. I mean, if I use the stippling brush, then powder puff, then stippling again (it still has foundation leftovers), so......??????? does it hv 2 be clean? cuz i only hav 1 brush & to wash it & wait 4 it 2 dry & then use it, totally impractical :D

Use a clean stippling brush. Always have at least two of every brush. If you don't have one then use a kabuki brush.
I should have asked, are you using liquid, cream or mineral foundation?

It depends on what kind of finish you want, and what kind of skin you have. I think the most fool-proof way is to use a powder puff, and kind of pat and push on the powder because that really sets in the liquid foundation and it also avoids the micro-exfoliation process that goes on when you use stippling brushes. I personally use kabuki's because I don't have dry skin and don't mind the micro-exfoliation, but it really depends whether your powder is light or quite heavy and stuff too.. just remember the denser the brush, the denser the application and vice-versa, so use that info to get the right amount of coverage and finish that you want :)
