Ok, so you might think what??? You want me to put Mayonnaise on my hair? The answer to that question beauties is "YES"! If you want silky, shiny hair then Mayonnaise is what you want to lather on to your locks! I don't know how exactly it works. All I know is that I have been doing it on MY hair and now on my daughters' hairs for years. (Especially after summer, heat) I put it on and wrap my hair with a plastic cap. (plastic bag and a towel will do as well) wrap it for 20 min to an hour wash, rinse and then style your hair!!! It will be so soft! Just make sure you wash thoroughly so you don't end up smelling like potato salad. Hope it helps.

I do this once a week. I add eggs, honey & hair oils. I love how it leaves my hair feeling.

Skip the normal mayo and buy the mayo made with olive oil. :D You can also make it yourself with olive oil and raw eggs in a blender.

1 1/2 c olive oil
1 whole egg + 1 yolk
2 tsp. lemon juice

In blend blend whole egg with egg yolk, slowly add oil until entire oil is used up. Add lemon juice slowly. Store in fridge, use within a week.

its sooo good for your hair, adding hair oils to the mayo is great as well as henna which is a natural occurring dye, and a bit of vinegar too
