The elf palette is pretty good for the price. I have a few palettes from different makeup brands and that one I use almost everyday. It has tons of colors. It's like ten bucks at target.

They bought us bh palettes for school and even though people love them and rave about them I have to say that I really hate their eyeshadows. In my opinion they don't blend well. Their matte colors look nice but I think the shimmery and satin ones look cheap. I think you'd be better off with the elf palettes or going to Sephora and picking up some of their brand shadows or palettes. They're priced higher than drugstore stuff but aren't as high priced as high end stuff and are probably better quality than bh's shadows.

Hard Candy at Walmart also have some palettes that are good from what I hear. They have a shimmery neutrals palette that's kind of like a dupe for the naked palette among others. The brand Flower also has high quality stuff too but I believe they only have single shadows or quads of 4. They're also at Walmart.

Elf is the only brand I can think of that has palettes close to being a dupe for bh.
