Make sure you change your pillowcases regularly and wash your make up brushes, both are a breeding ground for bacteria.

Acne is caused by hormones and genes (didn't know that until recently) stress will make you break out. But like Paige said, wash your brushes and change your pillowcases. Be wary of things that you put on your face, like creams or sunscreen. Anything that you've recently changed or added to your skincare might be at play. Use a cleanser specifically for acne, you'll want to get rid of the bacteria causing acne. If none of these give you a solution, see a dermatologist. He or she will be able to help. But don't worry and don't stress (:

Also make sure to wash off your makeup every night because if you leave it on all night the bronzer, foundation, blush etc. can sink into your pores causing break outs.

If they are really bad, go to a dermatologist, they can help settle the acne. Also remember not to pop them. I know it's really hard, but this way you won't end up with scars!

Yes, I would second seeing a dermatologist. And a facialist as often as you can.
Acne prone skin is usually sensitive. Try the Cetaphil face wash for normal to oily skin and use with a Clarisonic brush. Wash the brush head with soap and water after every use. Witch hazel to tone. A face cream with salicylic acid and then a spot cream for affected areas with the highest amount of benzoyl peroxide you can find. Moisturize well, acne treatments dry skin out. Use a moisturizer that's labeled oil-free or light. Protect your lips and eye area from the drying effects of acne treatments with eye cream and lip balm even though you are young. Wash your hands and makeup brushes every time before they touch your face.
