Does salt water actually help pimples?

I have been told that salt water thoroughly as hold it to one of your pimples for 3 minutes does this actually work?

I just started using Epsom salt in my face two days ago because I read its good for acne and scars..

Epsom salt is really good for that. Just be careful and don't over do the exfoliation. (:

You can use normal kitchen salt, and just put it on your face when it's wet, it may sting but that's a good sign, for me it worked!

I think so. Every time I go to the beach, even for two days at a time, I come back with perfectly clear skin. Which is saying a lot..
