I'm not 16, but basically I'm asking two questions:
1. How much makeup do you think is acceptable on a 16 year old?
And,
2. How much makeup do you think is acceptable on a 15 year old?
And why? I'm just taking a poll, and I'm just wondering what all of your opinions are. :)

Oops, sorry. I meant 14 year old, not 15. :)

I think that no matter what age you are you should be able to wear as much or as little makeup you want. it's your face.

I grew up in a conservative family and I wasn't allowed to wear makeup until my senior year when I begged lol. But I think as long as they don't put bold, blue eyeshadow with bright, red lipstick, go ahead.

It matters what you think. You can't measure it! If you don't like makeup, don't feel like you need to wear it. If you love makeup or its boosts your self confidence, then wear it! :)

Personally I think if you're 14 (grade 9 or 10?) I don't really think you should be wearing much makeup. Maybe just some eye shadow, lipgloss, but nothing too crazy. At 16 I would expect to wear more makeup. Eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara. I just hate how young kids these days seem to be wearing makeup. I didn't start wearing it till about grade 11.

I think it's all about application. For a14 year old starting high school, maybe a little skin makeup to cover blemishes and some natural eyes. 16 isn't that much older honestly, for school I wear mine pretty simple (I'm 17). However, I've seen lots of girls at school wearing super bright makeup. I've seen bright green eyes with black lips, I've seen bright red lips with an extra dramatic cat eye. It all depends on how the person wants to do it.

I'm 13. I wear foundation, blush, neutral eyeshadow, maybe some black eyeliner and some pink lipgloss.

I started wearing full face makeup at 14 and I think it's the perfect age. I think as long as you don't go too heavy anything is fine.

Not much some basic mascara and foundation.. Sometimes eyeliner is nice to but not a whole lot.

I'm 16 and I wear a full face, simply because I like the look, and it's my own way of being creative since I'm awful at anything artsy. As for anyone younger I think they should wear what makes them feel comfortable! If a 14 year old wants to wear a full face then it shouldn't matter what we think, as long as that person is happy with themselves. :)

I believe as long as you know what you're doing, 14 is a great age to delve more into the makeup world. I jar recently started getting really into makeup, and I'm 14. A lot of people think younger girls wear to much makeup, but some actually know what they're doing! Hah.

Well I'm 14 and personally I try to make it look natural. I'm too lazy to put on eyeshadow so I just put on some concealer (for dark circles and blemishes ect), obvious pressed powder, gel pot eyeliner (tight line my upper waterline), mascara and then I fill in my brows. Personally my family lets me get away with bright lipsticks because we all agree that we all don't like lipgloss so I'm allowed to wear lipstick also personally I just get away with pressed powder and lipstick when I'm in as hurry. So I guess in summary just try to look natural and only enhance your natural features.

Honestly, if you are looking for an everyday look, don't copy someone else's. make up looks dfi on everyone. winged eye liner on brow eyes are way more dramatic on blue ones. take some time, find what suits you, experiment.
