You are going to need lightener to get the black out of your hair. Color does not lift color. I would go see a professional, especially since your hair is already dry and hard to brush.
I can't see the picture of the red hair, but you look beautiful with black hair!

I love the black don't lighten it I tried once and it literally ruined my hair I've been waiting a year to get it back to normal and they had to cut it chin length.if your going to do it do a piece near your bangs.

I don't know how well Hi-Lift colors work, but you may want to research those. I heard they're for dark hair but I'm not sure how well they work or how they work =/
