I have been using a lot of heat on my hair lately and as a result my hair has a lot of split ends and is really dry and broken. Any help on what I can do to make it healthier? I stopped using heat on my hair for a while and it is working a little.

Try putting almond, coconut or olive oil in your hair and leave it in overnight once or twice a week.

If you would still like to use any heated items, use a heat protectant, it will help with the damage in the future

I would suggest always using a heat protector in an aerosol can, the squirt bottles can do more damage than good bc they don't evenly distrubute and make hair wet. also at your local paul mitchell salon treat yourself to a wild ginger awapuhi treatment. I promise you will immediately see a difference.

Cut you hair. The only thing products will do is keep it healthy LOOKING until you can cut the damaged hair off. I bounced back from heat and colour damaged hair and it took ages until I cut it. It?s grown back and it?s healthier than ever.
Mind you, the cutting process might take some time but it?s the best option. Try and cut off as much as you can to avoid split ends rising up even higher. It took me a long time because I waited a long time for my hair to grow out before I cut the ends off, they took off nearly 5 inches. I went back a few months later and had a few more inches removed. It sucks but it?s have to be done, and no product is going to fully restore you hair.
