Hey, y'all. So I have really oily, acne-prone skin. My skin hasn't been totally clear since the sixth grade and I am going to be a junior in high school this year. I am so tired of having big whiteheads all the time, and I literally have no idea anymore of what my skin looks like with clear, non-blackhead-filled pores!! I have tried countless things over the years, but nothing ever works. Can someone P L E A S E help me?

The only reason my skin looks clear in my profile picture is because of a poor front camera, good foundation, and an Instagram filter. My main problem is a lot of blackheads that turn into pimples. I just want to feel comfortable without piling on foundation first.

Try some oil-free cleansing wipes from neutrogena they sweep away pore-clogging dirt and oil and keep you from acne

White heads aren't hard to treat! Use benzoyl peroxide on them, this will clean out the follicle and get rid of them, check for acne cleansers with this ingredient.
For blackheads you want to use salicylic acid, as it slowly takes layers off your black heads every time you use it.
For pimples I recommend getting a tea tree oil spot treater, they're the fastest acting and won't disturb any other ingredients on your face. The product I recommend is "grease lightning" by lush, it is my holy grail.
Other than that make sure you stay away from oil based makeup and stick to water based, and use warmer water than usual when washing your face so it dries out more, which will help keep the oil at bay. Always make sure you wash your face twice a day and keep it clean!

Moisturize a lot but make sure you use one WITHOUT any oils a good moisturizer is cliniques moisture surge. Otherwise dehydrating your skin will only break you out more. For acne management try Mario Badescu's drying lotion!

My favorite acne products are the Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub and Epiduo gel. It's basically a benzoyl peroxide treatment. It's awesome!!

Wash your face every morning and night. My favorite cleansers are Philosophy Purity and Cetaphil for normal to oily skin. I use either one with the Clarisonic Mia. If you don't have one, you should definitely invest in one. Life saver! For blackheads, Biore nose strips gets the job done. They're for your nose or forehead. And if you use moisturizer, make sure it's oil-free. Hope you find something that leads to results. :)

I have had blackheads forever now. I think if you're prone to them in one spot, they'll never go away. This is after I've used biore and other nose strips countless times and clay masks, exfoliaters, and whatever. The only thing I haven't tried us the clarisonic.
When I was in my younger teens, my skin was super oily and I would use Proactiv, Clean and Clear, Biore, Neutrogena, etc. not saying these aren't great but I would be using too much.
Now my skin is more balanced and I use a simple cleanser, I would suggest toner since your skin is more on the oily side, anything like treatment (Lush's grease lightening, Clean and Clear spot treatment, etc.) + moisturizer. 1-3 times a week a face mask could help to purge out the pores.
I also like blotting sheets! I use the Clean and Clear ones but Sephora also has some too.

Doxycycline cleared my acne. But if you don't want oral meds, then I'll recommend the St Ives Apricot Scrub. Got rid of my blackheads over time and it keeps zits at bay. Invest in a good moisturizer as well, like clinique's dramatically different moisturizing gel for oily/combi skin. It's lightweight :)
