Have any of you tried tea tree oil on acne? I've heard it helps clear it up.

I apply tea tree oil directly on acne then cover with a dab of tea tree oil mask (from the body shop). I leave it on overnight and it helps a lot to reduce redness and size so it's a lot easier to cover in the morning.

Yes it doesn't work instantly, but it does over the course or a few days. the thing is that you don't want to use a lot, because it's very drying. what I do is mix it in with a little bit of my facial moisturizer so its not just straight up tea tree oil. it worls great for me.
