Face primer as eye primer?

Can face primer be used as eye primer? I have smashbox photo finish primer so I was wondering if I could use it for my lids too. :) thanks.

I actually think you can, just try and if it works for you, fine! Keep with it! If it doesn't, well... Change it!

I don't think it's made for eyeshadow and eye primer would be a lot better.
