Ok, so I am currently in college, but I LOVE makeup and making people feel good about themselves, so I would like to make it sort of a side job type thing. I'm going to school to be a teacher, so I will probably need a summer job anyways. I am just getting started, and was thinking that Id do tutorials and stuff, but try to do my friends makeup as well. I was also thinking about doing prom makeup in my home town since college lets out before the highschool prom in my town. Basically I am asking for any advice that any one can give. What things are an absolute must to know and own, anything at all. It'd be much appreciated. <3

You should check out a local makeup store or counter. You can get a part time job and they will help you learn how to free lance and things like that.
