Hi everyone. My hair is naturally brown and there's a few balayage blonde bits at the front. Naturally my hair is curly and I only straighten it about once every few months unless needed. My fringe curls are never as nice as the rest of my hair, it's more frizzy.
Anyway I'd like some opinions on colour & cut that I should try :-). I want to keep my length, don't mind cutting the fringe & layers though. I just want a bit of an oomph after doing nothing with it for ages!
Thanks xx.

Your ends look like they could possibly be a bit dry. If I'm right you need to cut that off. That will help your hair feel a ton healthier. I love the length on you tho so definitely keep that. I would try the dark burgundy hair thats going on lately. It would go so great with your coloring and features!

Aw thank you for your feedback. I'm new to this so I wasn't sure if it would send me a notification or not.
My ends definitely need a trim! Long overdue.
When I had my hair coloured lighter on the ends, I had a darker brown put through at the top and it had a tinge of burgundy, although it was a semi permanent so it didn't last too long. It wasn't a very obvious colour but it was quite nice. Is that what you are thinking? Or more so the picture that's on here?
So sorry for being incompetent, I'm just not sure if it's your picture or one you have posted on the review :-). I'll eventually become more beautylish-savvy with time.
Thanks again! xx

No its one I added just for you. Red is definitely not easy to keep but the beauty of it is that you don't have to use a permanent dye to keep it up. When adding color you don't need to use peroxide, sounds obvious but it was news to me! So a semi permanent hair color will work or even a permanent one with 10 volume developer. A rinse with cranberry juice helps keep the red as well and john freida shampoo for red heads. I just think the deep burgundy almost magenta haircolor looks so good on girls with your coloring! Your so pretty by the way!

I'm definitely going to try the semi for now and go from there :-)!
You've given me inspiration lol.
Thanks for the juice tip too, never heard of that before.
And thank you so much for your compliment, really sweet of you! :-)!! xx

I'd love to see pictures when your done! I'm considering dying my hair the same color. You've given me inspiration as well!

What about doing an all over darker shade then having the red underneath? You won't have to worry about maintenance as much since the ends of your hair holds onto color the longest. You could do some peek-a-boo highlights or do an ombre look.

Oh yes, you should definitely do it :-)!
That's why I'm really liking this website because you can talk to people who like the same things, ask people any kind of question relating to beauty etc, and you get honest feedback :-)!!

I was thinking, because my hair is already light on the bottom half, the colour will show up a lot lighter on there anyway :-). And then I could progress from there, as you said it holds the colour longer down the bottom and I'm so into low maintenance when it comes to my hair lol.

I'll do the semi to start :-).

I saved this photo on my phone a while back and always contemplated the colour.

Oh man I would kill for that girs hair! Its so pretty. I had my son 6 months ago and had to chop it all off cuz he was loving trying to yank it out of my head! I found a website that has a ton of information about how to cut hair, color it and hair masks and all sorts of stuff. www.hairfinder.com. You should check it out!
