I bought the 1 inch Gold GHD flat iron to replace my CHI flat iron. I find I have to go over my hair more times than I did with my CHI. For me I don't think the GHD is worth what I paid and will be looking for a different brand when it wears out

I have a bellezza flat iron and I love it. You can get any color or print. Mines zebra. My friend uses global beauty by chi iron and she loves hers. But my hair is thicker than her hair and when I use her flat iron it takes twice the time than when I use mine. It really depends on your hair.

Its not about colour or print, its about how the iron would best protect your hair from the heat and plates that caus damage. GHD is amazing, made by the same company as CLOUD NINE, they don't come cheap but the technology used is great. Always remember to use a heat/thermal protection stray always before blowing, ironing or curling. and an hydration and styling aid afterwards or irreparable damage will be caused to hair locks.

Thanks guys. Appreciate the input. I'm willing to spend $200-500. When I buy the cheap ones they just die.

I really like my HerStyler Colorful Seasons iron. It has 100% ceramic plates so it doesn't burn your hair up like regular irons that have just a coating of ceramic on top of metal...my hair has never felt so soft and been so shiny.
