My face gets insanely oily everyday after hardly doing anything. How can I tame it?

Make sure you wash your face before you apply any makeup. If you wear makeup, moisturizing your face and using a primer is going to help a ton. But even if you're not wearing makeup, you should use moisturizer. It'll help a ton! :) Also, using a toner might help too. :) Good luck!

I had that problem!! I feel you. So what you need to do is mix water and corn starch, enough to make a paste, and spread it on your face. Let it dry then wash it off, either in the shower or gently with a washcloth. I do it every day and it works great. You might want to start gradually, like every 2 or 3 days, so your skin doesn't dry out too much, then increase to however often you need it. Also, just about any drug store sells little oil absorbing sheets that you can carry with you, which are also great.

Make sure you use an oil free moisturizer because your face could be dry to the point it over produces oil.

Well, for starters you've got nothing to worry about, just naturally oily skin! Of course, nothing can really change the natural makeup of your skin but there are ways to control the oil:
•wash your face with hot water, I as a dry skinned person avoid this because it dries out my face, but a little dryness is good for you as it will help control the oil
•Use an acne wash, the chemicals in them help clear your skin as well as slightly dry it out!
•Using a water based or even a 'mattifing lotion will help, because it will return nutrients to your skin without the excess oil that some lotions have!
•use mattefying makeup, from primer to foundation to powder!
•blotting sheets are your best friend through out the day, the elf ones are great and only $1, they wipe the oils from your skin do you don't have to cake powder on!

Try Alba Botanica acne dote moisturizer! It has a matte finish and helps to regulate the oil on your face.

Def milk of magnesia for lasting oil control. Once you have this as a primer you don't need to worry about powdering/blotting. :)

I have the same problem and like 2 days ago I got the Urban Decay De-Slick setting spray, I've noticed a huge difference in my sin being less oily and my makeup staying throughout the day.
