How do I create a full big messy bun with my short - shoulder length hair?

Tie it up in a high ponytail, then backcomb it until its kind of sticking out everywhere haha and then pin it down with bobbypins or with a hair tie :)

Go to superdrug and buy the fake messy hair ring (or check out amazon). I have layered shoulder length hair and I just back comb front, tie back in a highish pony and do a loop. pop on the hair ring - perfect!

Agreee with S M, or make a sock donut with an old sock thats close to your hair colour. Youtube can show you how. It's great for adding solid structure and shape to the bun :)
