So I just recently stated getting acne on my back... I wash it every day and I swim, the pool has chlorine in it so I don't know if that changes anything? Does anybody know any body washes that help with acne?

No. I have acne and I just went swimming today and nothing happens to it. Chlorine only cleans out the germs in the pool, not your acne. Otherwise, that would be nasty šŸ˜–

You could try putting johsons baby powder on your back before you go to sleep and wear loose clothing so the powder stays on. I had these infected zits on my back shoulder after waxing and this really helped. try it for a week. hope it helps.

Try using a good body wash with antibacterial properties and using exfoliating mittens to scrub your body. It will get rid of all the dead skin cells :)

Anything with 2% salicylic works well for acneic skin:)

Ok Lindsey.. If you have pimples on your back.. DONT USE PROACTIV! It will never give you the best results... Use st.ives apricot scrub and neutrogena... Make sure it does not say face scrub!! And right after you take a shower, put on non-scented lotion because scented lotion will give you dry results... And if nothing works, visit a dermatology office near by and before you go to a office, ask relatives or friends to recommend a best dermatology office right near by

Do you condition your hair? I've heard of people getting acne from residue left behind from their conditioner. Switching up the order of your shower may help. Condition your hair first, rinse and then wash your back. That way no residue is left to cause acne. Neutrogena also has a body wash for body acne, as well as an acne treatment spray. If that doesn't work, it could also be that your skin is dehydrated if you take hot showers and because of the chlorine. Try moisturizing with a natural/non-scented lotion in addition to whatever acne medication you choose to use.
