When it comes to makeup, or anything you put on your face, make sure it's oil free. you can try using a cleanser or moisturizer for oily skin. also, if you wear makeup try a matte powder. my skin is kind of oily and keeps me shine free all day. I recommend rimmel's matte powder.

Using a gentle cleanser can really help, when people have oily skin, they usually buy a cleanser that's too harsh, stripping the oils from your skin, making it produce more oil. I love CeraVes cleansers. Also using a good moisturizer can keep your skin from drying out and creating more oil. I like clinques dramatically different moisturizing gel, and CeraVes moisturizing cream. A toner may work, Clinique and other companies have nice ones. Try the oil cleansing method too, pour out a couple drops of jojoba oil, and massage it into your face for a few mins, then use your gentle cleanser to wash it away. This really helps people who have oil production from dehydrated skin. And don't forget the blotting papers ❤️ :)

Using a moisturizer helps a lot-someone mentioned the clean and clear one which is the one I use (I have a combination skin type) and it works great! Also Garnier has a bb cream made for oily/combination skin which can be worn alone or with a bit of powder!

Embrace that oily skin. Oily skin ages at a much slower rate than dry skin. I'm with Tuti G. Manage it but don't beat it to death with a bunch of skin drying products. I keep mine balanced with a little help from glycolic acid serum and coconut oil.
