The cut you're asking about is the V cut haha and if your ends are feeling weird tell your hairstylist, and ask if there's a way to thin the ends of your hair. Make sure you specify just the ends, or they might thin your hair entirely.

It's not called the "v-cut" lol it's a round shape cut, there are a lot of shapes in hair cuts, and depending on the texture of your hair, you might not have the correct cut for your hair, I would recommend get a round cut with round layers. layers in general add a lot of volume and make the hair less dense and heavy, blunt cuts and one length cuts with longer layers add weight to the hair.
