For my baby she has a bad cough, I use a vaporizer at night, rub Vicks on her chest her back and the bottoms of her feet. (:

You could try Halls or Strepsils? Strepsils numb your throat a tiny tiny bit which helps eliminate irritation, pain, or that tickling feeling that makes you cough.

If youre serious about ditching being sick use Mucinex. I find it to be the only effective one. NyQuil and DayQuil is just bullshit and don't work. I get well in one or two dad with Mucinex. Everything else takes FOREVVERRR.

Drink lots of water and stay away from dairy because it just makes coughs worse. Also you could drink hot tea to help with your throat. Honey helps soothe an itchy throat too which could be why you're coughing so you could add that to your tea. Vitamin C supplements are also good to take because it builds up your immune system. I was sick for about two weeks last month and this stuff helped.

Make an eucalyptus tea, pour in two tablespoons of natural honey and the juice of half a lemon and drink it warm. I've been using this since I was a child every time I get sick its really good for throat pain and a cough remedy. And its all natural. 😉

A nice alternative to medicine is hot water with freshly squeezed lemon and honey! X.

You can gargle warm salt water, helps kill the bacteria as well.
