Sephora or Ulta.. Which one do you prefer and why! I am so very curious. I love Sephora more for many reasons and one of those reasons is...You get mini samples!! So adorabzzz and cute. And I get to try the product before I buy it. So leave your comments below, I really wanna know which you prefer!

I love Sephora just because I found it first and I like the environment of it better than I like Ulta's. I'm not sure if that makes sense but I'm a Sephora girl for sure :)

I like them both for different reasons. Sephora because of the bigger selection and awesome staff. Sephora staff has always been more helpful then Ulta. I find Ulta staff to be snobby and uninformative. I like Ulta because they carry Nyx and its closer for me.

I've never gone to ulta but I had my first experience at sephora a couple weeks ago and I was wry impressed. I loved how knowledgeable and willing to help the staff is. definitely reccomend sephora.

I honestly rely on them both for different reasons, but if Ulta happened to carry all of the higher end brands that Sephora does (they are indeed missing a few of the ones I really need; examples such as Illamasqua and Hourglass) then I would more than likely be more of an Ulta fan. I just like being able to do a haul all in one place as opposed to hopping between beauty stores for all of my needs.

For me ulta for sure I love their point system I'd rather get money then those shity samples, most of the samples I got were so shity no point to them and I'd rather get the money in ulta cuz I can spend it on what ever I want and they also send more coupons

Maybe it depends on the store, but the staff at the Ulta in my town are wonderful. I've gotten lots of help from them and learned some new things. I'd love Sephora more if I could afford a lot of the stuff they have and if there was one by me. There's only 3 stores in Wisconsin :(

I prefer sephora because...
-the staff is amazing, they are very knowledgeable and friendly
-I love their point system better because I like earning mini products, it's great for travel and to try new products
-the staff really cares and wants to educate you about products and make sure you know how to use them
the staff at ulta always ignore me until I walk into the high end section and swarm and watch me like I'm going to steal and they never seem to be able to answer any questions I have. the only items I purchase at ulta are pretty hair clips.

I like Ulta's affordability and variety (lots of hair and nail stuff) but I like Sephora's environment and policies (super easy returns, samples) better.

Megan, I thought it was just me, but my Ulta does the same thing! When Vice 2 first came out, I remember asking a sales associate if she knoew how long it was going to be in store for and her reply to me was "oh I have no idea, maybe a year, but its a high theft item so we have to watch people around it" and then she pretty much followed me around the rest of the time I was in there. I wanted tto kick that woman so bad.
