Trying a hot oil treatment may help. Tea tree by Paul Mitchell is good for dry hair also.

Put some hair oil (the heavier duty it is the better but depending on your hair thickness, gauge and trial run your hair) into the ends of your hair an hour before each shower then just shampoo the top leaving your ends kinda oily but when your hair dries it will be all soft :)

You could try some tea tree products. They are amazing!

Leave in conditioner is good. Maybe a styling cream would be better with the oil for a styling product. Are you washing every day? Cuz that's very drying. Also look into your shampoo. Just because it says moisturizing doesn't mean it won't dry your hair out. Especially if you use it everyday and its cheap.

Do conditioning treatments to keep your hair healthy, like almond oil hair treatments, egg and mayonnaise or avocado hair masks, or an argan oil hair mask from pro naturals to repair and moisturize. That should make your hair look and feel better.

I've been having the same issue lately. Firstly, definitely use sulfate-free products...they're great for cleansing without stripping your hair's natural moisture. But last week, to combat the dryness, I applied a mixture of extra virgin coconut oil (2-3 tablespoons) and tea tree oil (1 drop per tablespoon of oil) to my scalp with a hair dye brush applicator...and for the rest of my hair I applied a mixture of olive oil (6 tablespoons) and honey (4 tablespoons). The oil and honey can get a little messy, especially with long hair so I would suggest wearing gloves and applying it in sections. After application, I pinned it up, threw a plastic bag over my head and let it sit for at least a half hour before shampooing and conditioning. It rinsed clean and felt amazing. My hair was so silky and I could tell it was more moisturized as a result. There was no oily residue either.
PS > you can grab all of these products cheap at Trader Joes if you have one nearby vs. a vitamin shop or other health food store...
Hope this helps...
