I did a search but couldn't really find anything, so tell me your method and what you use please? I use Pantene's co-wash but I alternate with Suave's clarifying conditioner with added tea tree oil. I also use a super moisturizing conditioner on the ends while washing, right now it's one of the tresseme ones. I will shampoo about once a month if my feels flat...that's usually only if I've been using hair products though.

Yeah but I didn't like doing it. It wasn't right for my hair type.

I do wash about every 5-7 days. I use coconut oil from roots to end before I do. I rinse daily because I work out and like to refresh my curls. And before I rinse I use aquage healing conditioner or Sebastian hair mask on my dry hair and rinse focusing on massaging scalp to loosen oils. I have long fine curly colored to hell and back hair. Shampoo is way too harsh for my hair all the time. Sometimes if I'm extra greasy I wash just the bangs with shampoo. I've been doing hair a while and have kinda make up my own thing. I've tried lo poo, no poo, poo every day lol. I never found one method perfect for me

Cool Jeanne, I'll have to look into no poo cleansers. I just don't need the stripping that most poos have..that might work for me too.

Lol Mary! I know the feeling about mixing it up...I finally feel like I have my routine down though. Poo really I'd've for my hair either, it's straight and the top can keep moisturized but the length needs the extra moisture...my ends otherwise would get crunchy dry. :/ oh and I've tried deep moisturizing with coconut oil and wash out but I can never get out all out of the length! I just use a little as a leave in.

I just use conditioner only. It isn't too greasy (for me at least. I'm growing my hair out and my ends are where the old color/damage is so I really need all the hydration I can get.) But it works great for me, my hair is a lot softer and moisturized. I will shampoo every few days just to eliminate any buildup and sort of refresh it. I really like using Organix conditioners though. It's nice only having to buy one bottle since they aren't exactly cheap for the amount of product you get. For shampoo I just use Suave's Rosemary Mint invigorating shampoo. I use it purely for the smell which is like L'Oreal's EverClean in the green bottle. I love the smell but not the price. I just bought the keratin oil conditioner from Organix though. I also like the macadamia oil and Awapuhi ginger ones as well :)
