Pore do not open or close you can soften them to get dibre out then harden them back you can only minimize the look of enlarged pores by exfoliating use a AHA or salicylic cleanser use a alcohol free toner and you can also try a clarisonic I love mine it keeps your pores free of dirt and oil so your pores appear less noticeable.

I use cornstarch baby powder as a setting powder and it really gives me a soft look and diminishes the look of pores.

Large pores can be a genetic thing that you have no control over. Keep them clean will help them look smaller. If you don't have the black oxidized oils built up in the center of your pore it won't draw attention as much. wash face morning and night and exfoliate. drink lots of water and wear a primer under your makeup to help give your skin a smoother look.
