What are your opinions on them? I have been up in the air about threading but I wax my eyebrows every 2 weeks...

I prefer waxing threading is painful and I have heard that threading takes longer to grow back but for me it grew back the same length of time as the waxing and I had scabs underneath my eyebrow from the thread burning me so I prefer waxing

Threading is much easier, more precise and quicker in my opinion. I'd prefer it anyday.

I've never done waxing but I did do threading a while back and it does hurt but I think it's worth it.

I personally prefer waxing JUST because every time I have had my brows threaded they have just removed way too much of my brow to try and make a shape in my straight brows. I even warned the threader that I understand I have straight brows but I like the thickness. I also hate the feeling of it. Ha ha, and once I got a little tear in my skin from the thread on the edge of mg brow that was similar to paper cut. Threading can definitely get a great shape, but make sure you go to someone you can trust.

Then again... the reason I prefer wax is because of the threading incidents in my life I trust no one with my brows but myself. I am an esthetician, and I just wax them myself.

@Traci, I just hate the sound and that feeling. The times I had it done, it was sure she was removing me entire brow. Ha ha that's what it feels like though!

I thread because the results are much more cleaner and precise than waxing. Also, threading hurts but beauty is pain right? Also, waxing can lead to premature wrinkles and damage to skin around the eyes so in my opinion threading is the way to go.

I have tried waxing and my skin comes off before my hair does. Threading is the only thing that helped me to tame these caterpillars I call eyebrows. When I first started getting it done I got a few scabs but they healed rather quickly. You need to get used to it for sure. I have started watching youtube videos on how to do it yourself and though I am not as good as the professionals, it gets the job done. Maybe try it yourself first so you know what it feels like.

I say threading. Everyone has hit and miss stories but ultimately it depends on you finding someone who can execute the shape you want. I think threading is more precise to be honest. All I can say it try it out for yourself. Just be sure to explain the shape you want because they can get a little happy lol.

I first tried threading because a friend told me it lasted longer and was gentler on my skin and I can say this for sure Never Again will I do it, it was so painful my eyes would not stop watering and my brows where the hair was removed was red and swollen for about 2-3 days and then within a week the hair was growing back.
