You should wear SPF, but it doesn't have to be in your foundation. You could use a moisturizer with SPF, or just put on some sunscreen before your makeup :)

I find that SPF in foundation is the easiest way to remember to wear SPF, I think it's less stress when it's in a foundation :) some powders contain SPF so maybe the powder you use has it?

Yeah it's important, especially if you're outside, sun and foundation is an AWFUL combo for your skin so putting on a layer of matte-finish sunscreen (Neutrogena's is good) as a primer is a great idea if your foundation doesn't have any.

I think foundation shouldnt have spf, in case you want to use it for taking pictures. I also find that most foundations don't offer an spf high enough to protect your skin from the sun (must be 35+). It's much better, in my opinion, to buy a quality sunscreen separately...I personally love the neutrogena ultra sheer dry touch sunblock :) I hope this helps

Yes! Keep on using your foundation until it is empty, don't throw it away, just apply sunscree before you start :) x
