I have never really done a real full flawless foundation face routine before. I have fair skin not too white, but not really dark either. Any foundations I pick seem to be too dark and the fair's make me look ghostly... I have a lot of redness in my face... some days its not as noticeable other days its in full effect...I also noticed when I have tried foundation it's looked very peely, and not soft and natural. How do I fix this, and have the perfect most natural foundation face? Any recommendations on how to fix these problems and some good foundations preferably drugstore, but if there's a beyond great high-end that will fix my issues please recommend. Thanks, so much.

The reason you may look ghostly is because you have a lot of redness and a foundation will cover that up and makeup you more mono-toned. If you want to keep some of your flush, you can always sheer out the foundation by wetting your brush/sponge before applying the foundation.
Also, depending on your undertone, you could be choosing a foundation with the wrong undertone. If I apply a foundation with a pink undertone, I look ashy. If you take a look at your neck in natural light, look for a yellow tone or a pink tint to find your undertone. Matching to your neck will help prevent a mask look.

First make sure you're using foundations with the correct under tone. If one foundation is not right for you, I suggest mixing two to make your custom color.

For a more flawless natural looking face I wouldn't try matte or full coverage. Your natural glow may be what you want. Go with a tinted moisturizer or a buildable (medium coverage) so you can control the product. For face powder, I would go with a loose lightweight one, preferably a yellow toned translucent powder (not white, and they tend to look cakey in the camera flash). I have tried the Salma Hayek Nuance tinted moisturizer, and I think its good...but I tend to buy high end foundation.
