Toning down BRIGHT red hair?

Is there any possible way to fade my hair color a bit..I think it's a bit to much.. Is there a semi permanent dye that would make my hair more of a light auburn ish red..thanks in advanced.

This may sound silly but when you do get it to lighten up, use john frieda precision foam hair color. the color youll want to get the color you want is radient red. Its soo beautiful and easy to do. $15 at target. this is what it looks like.

I once dyed my hair dark brown and it ended up jet black so I used cheap shampoo I think it was vo5 and shampooed my hair and left it in for about 10 minutes and a lot of the dark hair dye came out

Did you just dye it? Like Nadia said, basically just washing it will fade the color really fast. it looks perfect on you though!
