How to get these curls?

How do you get curls like these? I've tried a 1.5 in. Curler and the curls just fell out and I've used a.75 in. Curler, but they get really tight.

I do not know to do these curls with a curler but I usually plait my hair after washing it and do big braids and let it dry naturally and in the morning put a little sea salt spray in.

Maybe try using some hairspray after you curl your hair with the 15 in. Then use some sea salt pray afterwards!:)

Use your 1.5 and.75 and wrap your hair around the barrel and hold for like 10 seconds, alternate between the sizes, at the end shake them out flip you hair over and then put some light hold hairspray in
