Its not the stylists fault that your hair got damaged from coloring/ bleaching it, that happens to hair when you put. chemicals on it. They probably won't give you a refund but generally they will fix it for free.

How could they charge you that much for having produced their results?! My hair girl always says I should love it or let her fix it at no extra charge because her work is being 'advertised' by me (or however she said it). Try and get that money back, that's a lot of money. You paid for having damaged hair you should tell them that if they argue :(

I know you dislike the outcome but I've seen worse! your hair isn't bad! just use moose everyday. it will create a natural wave that will make the blond streaks less harsh looking, plus that won't damage your hair.

I can't even imagine what your colorist was thinking. I've never seen an ombre that bad. and for her to let you leave thay way?? wooow. I can't even like imagine what she thought she was doing. I hope she at least has enough self awareness to know she did a horrible job. you can definitely find someone to be able to fix it the way you wanted originally though. I'd ask for exampes of their ombres

Wow that's ridiculous! I do better and I do my own hair you definitely need to get a refund and do something about it cause that's not a good look you should go darker just to make it even!

Oh thats bad 😟 ask for your money back, this is a really bad job! Go darker if you want to fix it without damaging it. I hope everything will be fixed soon 😁

They charged you $115!! Demand a refund and threaten legal recourse if they refuse. That is ridiculous. They should never have charged you for that because they could clearly see that was not acceptable work.

Not that bad Rachel? For $115 that's completely unacceptable o.o definitely get a refund and get some deep conditioning treatments.

Go somewhere else and have it dyed dark so you can't see the mistakes.
May 2, 2013

Oh and ask to have a conditioning mask put on to help the condition.

That is an absolute disaster of a colour as a hairdresser myself I would not let my client walk out like that. And you should not have to dye your hair dark after paying $115 dollars. Some people just shouldn't be stylists.

Holy hell, that is a shocker. I am so so shocked. I'm not one for confrontation so I would probably just suck it up and absorb the cost and get if fixed asap. Ask for a consultation beforehand though. But do what you feel is best :) I feel so bad for you though. That stylist should feel humiliated. Such incompetence.

If I were you I would get my money back! And not go into that salon anymore.

I called the salon and the owner said I could come up there and they would put a toner over it or something which I think will not do anything to help my hair. What should I do?! How can I tell them to give my money back?
May 2, 2013
Emily W.
I would go in, maybe bring a friend or family member for support, and tell them that after all the damage they caused I won't let them touch my hair, and if they don't give my money back I will call the Better Business Bureau as well as file a small claims lawsuit for the damage.

Hey I'm in stylist in NYC deff get your money back or tell them to put a conditioning treat and a Demi permanents less damaging they enlightened your hair way too much to the point where is started breaking off

I think you shouldn't color the rest dark brown but should find a good colorist who can use a color GLAZE to even it out while also creating the ombre look you were going for. They would need to go in and lighten the patches of darkness that the other stylist left behind first, then use a dark neutral blonde glaze starting at the upper part of where the lightened parts begin. if it weren't for the huge patches that were left unlightened , this could be a simple color glaze process in a dark
neutral blonde, although I'd leave

...It on the upper most parts for longer and then bring it down. personally I'd do a lot of adjustments to the formula throughout the whole process, but I can't explain it here.
