It's definitely not a stand alone color. It creases like you said. I never did think of using it as a base! I tried just the purple one. But I needed a small jar for a travel foundation pot, and I cleaned it out! ;P Maybe sometime soon I'll retry a different color as a base! :D

Danielle , I actually have a few favorites too cool and tough as taupe can be used under most color so those are probably my favs! also bold gold looks amazing with gold or bronze shadows! I tried mostly all the colors! I did notice that purple, turquoise, orange, etc.look nice with the matching shadows! The new metal colors are pretty too! I haven't tried them yet but there on my list of things to buy next!

I have a few and I only use them as bases. before I knew what a base was, I wore the color tattoo alone and it definitely creased.

I love the matbelline as a base or alone it don't crease on me but stays on my kids FOREVER I HAVE 4 colours stunning also I do a lot of pics underwater so perfect for that too! Ill b using this ALL SUMMER go to the pool n sea won't budge am happy I got em

There are my HG makeup products. I have a ton and I've had them for a while. I store them upside down so the color shows at the top and I never have had one dry out. They never crease on my eyelids and they are beautiful for a base. I can wear a couple of the colors for a stand alone shadow, but I prefer them as bases. I've been on the hunt for the Spring limited edition ones and cannot find them anywhere! :(

I have every color they have ever made and I LOVE THEM...they never crease on me but I also pair them with an eyeshadow primer. I hardly ever wear them as stand alone shades. The only ones that I will wear stand alone is the Bronze shade and the Barely Beige. Otherwise, I use them as a base which they work amazing for. They have replaced most of my NYX pencils at this point.
