Sigma brushes are AMAZING and come in sets for so much cheaper. I tjink I paid 130ish for 12 brushes then spent an extra 60 for an 8 piece set of eye brushes. I love them!

Real techniques are the best.

I own some Sephora brand eyeshadow brushes and those are amazing! They're not true cheap brushes - the cheapest one is $11, but they apply shadows beautifully, and are durable. I only own one MAC brush, but if you're going to buy a face brush, research carefully and make sure that you're getting your money's worth; my MAC 130 is a godsend and I don't regret spending money on it. It doesn't shed and it makes my foundation look skin-like!

Sigma are the best, buy real technique and elf brushes are also good if you're on a tight budget.

I found that my elf brushes were rubbish :( they weren't soft and the hairs kept falling out! The real techniques are doing core collections of 4 for £20ish. They're really good!
