You know those waves people have that look perfect but like they haven't really bothered, in a good way?

This is what I do...
wet your hair, put some leave-in conditioner, split your hair into two, make two rope braids (YouTube it), then go to sleep, in the morning comb them out carefully with your fingers and salt spray them. voila:)...

You can loosely braid ans run a flat iron over them and just use your fingers to style.

There are SO many different methods - you need to experiment and see what works for your hair type & length.
Search "heatless beachy waves" on Google or YT & you are bound to find a ton of tutorials.
A few of my favorite methods:
1-A curl boosting mousse on damp hair, then blow dry my hair with a diffuser attachment. It's easy and great for wavy hair
2-Take the section of hair in front of your ear and start twisting it backwards. Keep twisting until it starts coiling up around itself, then twist it into a bun on top of your head and secure with a bun or bobby pin. Do the same on the other side of your head. Braid the rest of your hair and leave overnight! Hair can be damp or dry, I usually wait until my hair is 70% dry before doing this since it holds the curls best that way. This works great on all hair types!
3- Andreachoice's T-Shirt curls, especially good on curly hair
4- Fishtail braids! This gives great texture to straight hair. I usually do a fishtail braid on second day hair, leave in all day& night, and then I get great third day hair! (if you haven't trained your hair, use dry shampoo & tease your roots to keep your hair looking fresh)

Try putting salt water in a spray bottle and spritz that on your hair!
