Head band curls! You take an elastic headband out in on your hand and you wrap your hair around it until you get something like this...I can't think of how to explain so looks on YouTube!

I like pin curls just take small sections of hair spray that section roll it up and pin it. Spray again (a little or a lot depending on your hair) wrap it in a scarf and sleep on it. ( if you want bigger curls take bigger sections)
