Because of all the selection, I'm not sure what I need. For example: are bronzer, primer, and bb cream necessary?
Can you guys tell me what your basics are and what you recommend? Thanks!

My basics would be a bb cream, mascara& blush. Maybe bronzer(:

My must haves are concealer, eyeliner, mascara and blush. Primer is not always necessary, and neither is bronzer. Highlighter is also unnecessary. :) x

Definitely concealer, mascara, brow pencil or powder (to get the perfect eyebrows), eyeliner, blush, and a neutral everyday lipstick/gloss. Maybe a liquid foundation or power foundation if you want to even your skin out.

Coming from a poor person, I think all you need is foundation, eye liner, mascara, & powder. some people look awesome without eyeliner, I'm just not one of those! lol.

I think it depends on what you're going for. If you're a minimalist, or just don't care to spend time on makeup in the morning, you should be fine with a tinted moisturizer or foundation, mascara, and (maybe) eyeliner, concealer, and powder. If you're the kind of person who doesn't mind spending some extra time on makeup, or if you want something more in your look, you should consider purchasing: foundation or tinted moisturizer, blush, bronzer/contouring color, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, and (maybe) concealer and powder depending on if you need the extra coverage or if you have oily skin.
Personally, I love doing the whole shebang, so I do my: eyebrows, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, foundation, (a little bit of) powder, blush, contour, highlight, and lipstick.
