Hey guys! I have prom coming up and I'm really looking for a good powder foundation! I really like Laura mercier products and mac and bobbi brown! My skin is pretty bad, cos I'm like the age where my skin constantly breaks out, I have pretty bad scarring so I need a good coverage powder, any help?

Bare minerals has very good coverage makeup, but I suggest liquid foundation because it covers more. Also try dermablend foundations those are very thick and can cover your acne I use it cause I'm going thru the same thing and that foundation works miracles

Thanks a million! I normally find bare minerals a little heavy and the tones don't really match me up too well! I have bought a liquid foundation which Is brilliant, I totally agree it gives more coverage! But as a finsihing touch, any ideas on powder?

I personally love L'Oreal True Match foundation. Underneath try using milk of magnesia as a primer. For a powder I use L'Oreal True Match Powder or Marcelle Tinted Powder. Both work great to absorb oil. If you're using a powder, get 1 or 2 shades lighter than your skin tone because the natural oils on your face will darken the powder.

I wouldn't reccomend using powder foundations because they don't rub off as easially and are less cakey and cover SO MUCH better than powder. I reccomend tarte maracuja foundation
