Hey ladies and gents, I'm writing this thread because I'm sure I'm not the only one who has difficulties applying false lashes and wearing them without wanting to rip them off! I can put them on, but it takes forever to do so and once I get them on they're really uncomfortable and it kind of makes me just want to stick to mascara... Which is annoying when I'm going for a dramatic look. Tips and tricks, anyone? xo.

Are you applying false lashes on a regular basis? If necessary apply false lashes but try to just stick with adding mascara.

Get quality lashes with good flexible bands that are thin and light. For glue, I like my revlon glue because it's a brush-tip so it's easier than the dipping method. Just make sure the glue is sticky before putting it on. Use tweezers to push it right onto the lashline, not glued onto your actual lashes!

Or try individual lashes, they're easier to apply, can be as dramatic/natural as you want, and is lightweight and comfortable. :)

Ardell pre- glued lashes and curved tweezers. You can move them around if you mess up without any drama. Love them!

I cut the falsies in half or into quarters. It's easier (and much less frustrating) when you have less to work with. It makes it easier to apply them correctly so that they look natural, and I find that they feel more comfy that way. You can also try using a flat-sided cuticle remover so that you don't get glue all over your fingertips while trying to apply them.

Cut them to fit your eye shape better and apply them with Tweezers! Get a good pair of eyelashes, a not thin, flexible band and some good glue!

I like to put the glue on wait a lil while then put them on starting from the outer part of my lid because I noticed if I get them to close to the inner part of my eye it irritates me I also use revlon glue and cheap lashes from eBay which also recommend for practicing since there so cheap less then $2.00 for 10 pair :)

I agree with Vanessa, start with the outer corner. I like to keep my eye closed too, and hold the lashes on either end. I use duo glue, in my years of theater this worked the best for everyone I knew. Apply the glue to the lashes and let it dry a bit before applying. Some girls liked to apply the glue to their lash line and then the false lashes to their eyelids, I find this a little trickier.
It takes some practice and adjusting to feeling them every time you blink, but its one of those things where you need to find what works for you bc there is no real right or wrong way to apply them.
