Your skin looses all your natural oils after washing your face.. It takes hours for them to come back.. So a toner helps those natural oils come back and for your lotions to work better it activates your skin and lotions you put in!:) also it helps clarify your skin tones, some help with pores, and there are different ones for each skin type!

Depends on the toner but most products will say on the description behind the bottle what exactly it will do for your skin but mainly they help to remove excess dirt/oil/makeup that your cleanser left behind and prep the skin to receive moisture better.

It dries up the oils in your skin and tightens up your pores and helps with acne because its cleaning your skin even more after washing it. You use it twice a day after washing your face and after your toner you put on moisturizer to get some moister back to your skin because toners are drying to the skin without a good moisturizer to put on afterwards <3 you should use them, very refreshing. I never feel fully clean unless I use my toner

Its basically the middle step in a skin care routine should be cleanser toner then spot treatments and finish with moisturizer
